19:44 hrs. The #99 JMB Racing Ferrari F430 GT, driven by Ben Aucott has gone off at the Dunlop Curves and, going backwards, hit the barriers hard. The rear of the car looks fairly badly damaged and will probably not go out again tonight.
19h53 The #31 Team Essex, Porsche RS Spyder - engine change
The #31 Team Essex, Porsche RS Spyder, currently leading LMP2, has not done any laps tonight and the car is currently in its pit garage having a new engine fitted. This is probably being done so that the team can check out this unit since it is the one they will be using for the race.
19h53 35 Saulnier Racing, Pescarolo Judd - in its pit garage
The #35 Saulnier Racing, Pescarolo Judd is in its pit garage while the team sort out a problem. It appears that they are dismantling the clutch mechanism in the garage. This should not be a major job but could take some time.
20h23 #33 Speedy Racing Team Sebah, Lola off at the Playstation chicane
#33 Speedy Racing Team Sebah, Lola Judd Pompidou Belicchi Zacchia spun off at the Playstation chicane - the second time the car had a problem there. With Zacchia at the wheel, the car went into the barriers and damaged the bodywork and rear wing; the car had to be returned to the pits by a recovery vehicle after the end of the session.
20h26 Big impact for the #9 Peugeot Sport Total, Peugeot 908
. The #9 Peugeot Sport Total, Peugeot 908 HDI FAP driven by Zonta appeared to go straight on at the Corvette Curve. It went off at speed and hit the wall hard. Zonta remained calmly sitting in the car, uninjured, as the marshals set about recovering the car. It did seem to lose a wheel at some point but whether this was before or after the impact is not yet clear.

20:32hrs. #14 Creation Autosportif Ltd, Creation Aim Ca07 driven by Stuart Hall went off at Tertre Rouge and hit the wall hard. As a result a rear wheel was ripped off and the rear suspension was badly damaged. The driver was helped from the car and the doctors are attending to him anyway.
#59 Team Modena, Aston Martin DBR9 Menten Fittipaldi Borcheller lost a wheel just after Mulsanne Corner.
