The Red Bull Junior Team announced today that Jean-Eric Vergne will move up into the Formula Renault 3.5 Series to contest the remainder of the championship alongside Daniel Ricciardo for Tech 1 Racing. The 20-year-old French driver will take on this new role in addition to his existing commitments in the British Formula 3 Championship. The move comes following Red Bull Junior Team’s decision to release Brendon Hartley, after four seasons with the program

Starting from pole position for the fifth time this year, Daniel Ricciardo (Tech 1 Racing) took his second win in Formula Renault 3.5 Series, having led the race from start to finish.
