Auf der Zielgeraden eines spannenden Motorsportjahres kürt der Automobilclub von Deutschland (AvD) seine besten Piloten. Steffi Halm aus dem schwäbischen Ammerbuch und Vize-Weltmeister Aaron Burkart aus Berlin sind die AvD Sportler des Jahres 2008. Mit dieser neu ins Leben gerufenen Ehrung möchte der AvD besondere sportliche Leistungen honorieren.
