India wins dramatic season finale at Brands Hatch

Flag The crowd are loving this! Everyone is coming down to the podium to cheer everyone on.

Flag Donuts all round everyone! India, Great Britain and Switzerland perform end-of-season donuts to cheering fans. It's the race winner, the home team and the new champion sending the crowd wild!

Flag China was fourth, France was fifth, Netherlands sixth, Portugal seventh, New Zealand eighth, Italy ninth and wait for it - Indonesia in tenth. It's the first point for A1 Team Indonesia all season.

Flag India wins its second race of the season. Great Britain is second. The new champion Switzerland finished third.

Lap 48 Czech Republic is in the gravel at Druids.

Lap 48 It's the last lap. It's looking good for India.

Lap 46 Czech Republic and China are investigation.

Lap 45 India is still pushing hard. Narain Karthikeyan has a 1.843-second lead over Robbie Kerr.

Lap 44 Portugal gets by New Zealand with a great move round the back of the circuit. It is now seventh.

Lap 43 Five laps to go now.

Lap 43 India is looking good for its second win of the season.

Lap 41 Indonesia is tenth at the moment. Can it stay there and score its first point of the season?

Lap 41 Fairuz Fauzy pulls into the pits reporting a misfire in the enigne.

Lap 41 Robbie Kerr is right on the back of India now. Narain Karthikeyan made a mistake round the back of the circuit.

Lap 40 Germany is out.

Lap 39 Michael Ammermuller is in the gravel bed at Druids.

Lap 35 India is really pushing. Narain Karthikeyan is pulling away from Robbie Kerr in the battle for second.

Lap 34 USA is having a slow stop. Something is going wrong in the pits.

Lap 33 China leads the race - and sets the fastest lap of the race.

Lap 33 Drama! India effectively takes the lead after Great Britain has a slow stop.

Lap 32 India and Great Britain and Germany pit.

Lap 32 It looks like GBR and India are getting ready to make their pit stops at the end of this lap. Kerr has a 1.6-second advantage. Will it be enough?

Lap 31 With New Zealand running in 11th, Great Britain is poised to take second in the championship. It would be its best ever finish in A1GP.

Lap 28 Ireland and India are investigation. Is this for the earlier collision.

Lap 27 Robbie Kerr is starting to put the power down. He is building a lead and now has a 1.43-second advantage. It's not much though.

Lap 28 China's Congfu Cheng is harrowing Switzerland's Neel Jani and France's Frack Montagy in the fight for fourth.

Lap 27 The second round of pit stops are approaching in just five laps.

Lap 24 It is still close up front. Great Britain, India and Germany are covered by just 2.7 seconds.

Lap 23 Ireland has just set the fastest lap of the race. Adam Carroll may not be battling up front any more, but he could still get a point.

Lap 21 Wait for it - guess who has got a drive-through penalty again? Canada!

Lap 21 France and Germany are both under investigation.

Lap 14 The battle is on between Adam Carroll and Narain Karthikeyan. Ireland is pushing hard for what will be second place. It's an amazing battle.

Lap 11 Drama in South Africa's pit stop. Zaugg leaves the pits with his rear jack still attached. It falls off and is collected by a marshall.

Lap 10 Yes! Great Britain has beaten India's Narain Karthikeyan out of the pits. The crowd go wild!

Lap 9 Great Britain comes into the pits. Will Robbie Kerr get out ahead of India?

Lap 6 Australia seat holder Alan Jones has just called his driver, and Pakistan's Adam Khan, 'a couple of idiots'.

Lap 5 Khalil Beschir is going again for A1 Team Lebanon. He is 20th.

Lap 5 Both John Martin and Adam Khan have got out of the cars and are not seriously injured.

Lap 4 Replays show that Adam Khan and Australia's John Martin had contact on the back straight. They both spun out and crashed into the walls. It was a big accident.

Lap 4 Safety car is out.

Lap 3 Brazil has come in and changed its nosecone.

Lap 2 Pakistan has gone off and damaged his nose.

Lap 2 Lebanon's Khalil Beschir has had an off and is stationary on the track.

Lap 1 Ireland is pushing Great Britain. This is so close round the back of the circuit. They are trying to pass but they don't quite manage it. It's so close!
