Poole’s Dolphin Shopping Centre will once again play host to some of the country’s leading drivers and cars from the British Formula 3 International Series and the Avon Tyres British GT Championship on Thursday 26 June in the Pit Shop Roadshow. Motorsport fans will marvel at the racing cars worth in excess of half a million pounds taking pride of place in the Main Mall while testing their skills against the professionals on the Scalextric Roadshow.
The Hitech Racing 2007 British F3 International Series-winning car and the championship-leading Brookspeed Team Trimite British GT Dodge Viper Competition Coupe will be displayed in the Main Mall. Following their visit to Poole, the teams will head-off to compete in the next respective championship rounds at Thruxton circuit, near Andover, on 28 & 29 June.
Following a successful debut at the centre last year, in which hundreds of happy shoppers got the chance to meet and chat with some of the UK’s top racing names, both cars will be on display from 09.00 to 17.30 with drivers available to pose for photographs and sign autographs. Plus you can also have another chance to win tickets, Grid Walk passes and exclusive pit garage tours at the Thruxton race.
Once again the Scalextric Roadshow will roar into the centre giving shoppers the chance to try their hand or even challenge the drivers. Although many people may never have the pleasure of driving a racing car, Dolphin Shopping Centre visitors can be a racing driver for the day on the new amazing Scalextric Digital layout featuring a multi-lane track, and one figure of eight drift circuit.

Two additional pairs of tickets to attend Thruxton on Sunday 29 June are also up for grabs.
