Groupe de course Octane, promoteur du Grand Prix du Canada, est heureux d’annoncer que l’événement sera ce week-end présenté à guichets fermés. C’est à 15 h, cet après-midi, que la billetterie a mis fin aux opérations en ce qui concerne l’édition 2010 du plus populaire événement sportif annuel au pays. Dès demain, vendredi 11 juin, la billetterie du Grand Prix du Canada mettra en vente les billets de l’édition 2011 et pour les amateurs, cette nouvelle est réjouissante de deux façons.
Non seulement pourront-ils s’assurer d’avoir le meilleur choix en commandant dès maintenant, ils pourront acheter leurs places aux prix de 2010, lesquels sont eux-mêmes ceux de 2008. Les organisateurs offrent cet avantage à leur clientèle jusqu’au 31 juillet inclusivement, la grille tarifaire étant indexée par la suite.
« Nous sommes évidemment très heureux de la réponse du public. La clientèle locale, à l’évidence fière de son Grand Prix du Canada, s’était manifestée dès la mise en vente en décembre dernier et nous a fait réaliser très tôt qu’elle n’allait pas bouder son plaisir, a expliqué monsieur François Dumontier, président du Grand Prix du Canada et de Groupe de course Octane, promoteur de l’événement. Par la suite, au fil des mois, c’est la réponse des amateurs de l’étranger qui nous a agréablement surprise.
Nos ventes en Europe ont été exceptionnelles et cela témoigne bien de l’intérêt que suscite notre événement dans le marché traditionnel de la Formule 1. Il y a là des milliers de connaisseurs qui apprécient depuis des années le spectacle retransmis dans leur foyer depuis le circuit Gilles-Villeneuve et qui ont choisi de franchir l’océan pour vivre, sur place, un week-end de Grand Prix à la manière Montréal. Nous allons les accueillir, comme tous les autres d’ailleurs, avec chaleur et enthousiasme. Et j’invite tous les Montréalais à en faire tout autant.»
Dès vendredi 11 juin, tant à la billetterie du Grand Prix du Canada sur le site (voisine de la station de métro Jean-Drapeau), au téléphone (514 350-0000) que sur le site web officiel de l’événement (www.circuitgillesvilleneuve.ca), on pourra procéder à l’achat de billets pour l’édition 2011.
En effectuant leurs commandes au plus tard le 31 juillet prochain, les amateurs économiseront selon les différentes catégories de 10 à 45 $ sur le prix des places en tribunes et 5 $ sur les prix de places en admission générale.
