Celebrity Ambassadors for Electric Electric Mobility

„Slow down with fossil vehicles – full steam ahead with electric mobility: The German automotive industry is an aorta of our economy - and the shift from it's outstanding combustion engine competence towards electric mobility affects us all.

If they manage to be ahead in this international competition too, then our economy will be fine - and so will we! That is why this change as well as our car industry need our support - and it is why I beat the drum for it", Nina Ruge explained her motivation to become an Ambassador for Electric Mobility (German video statement).

German actor, author and documentary filmmaker Hannes Jaenicke is enthusiastic about driving an electric car. „It saves a lot of money, it doesn't smell, it makes no noise and it is simply fun", said Jaenicke at the 2015 award ceremony, pointing out the advantages of electric mobility.

Depending on his shooting schedule, he plans to attend the award ceremony as an Ambassador and Laudator.

Award Ceremony: Glamour in the Glyptothek

More than 200 invited guests from economy, science, politics and the media will see the presentation of the awards for the four categories „Electric Vehicles“, "Energy Infrastructure & Storage“, Powertrain & Electronics“ and “Sustainable Product & Mobility Concepts“ in the festive setting of the Munich Glyptothek on October 17 - and experience a really glamorous night.

Robert Metzger, founder and organizer of the award: „The annually increasing participation of exhibitors as well as the public interest in this unique award reflect the rapidly growing interest in eco-friendly technologies and sustainable mobility.

I am delighted to see this development and I feel that our engagement here is recognized by the community. The fact that we once again have a group of prominent supporters shows how important this topic is as far as the development of our socitey is concerned."

Interested companies and organizations can join the competition until August 31, 2016. It gives them the opportunity to recieve 15,000 Euro price money that each of the four category winners will take home.
