La toute première 'Clean Car of the Year' sera dévoilé le 10 janvier 2012 !
20.12.2011: Jeudi dernier, 9 voitures ont été nominées pour le titre de 'Clean Car of the Year 2012' : les Renault Twingo, Mitsubishi iMiev et Toyota iQdans
Jeudi dernier, 9 voitures ont été nominées pour le titre de 'Clean Car of the Year 2012' : les Renault Twingo, Mitsubishi iMiev et Toyota iQdans la catégorie des "Citadines" ainsi que les Opel Ampera, Volkswagen Passat et Chevrolet Volt dans celle des "Voitures de flotte".
Cette année, pour la première fois, la Clean Car of the Year sera élu dans une catégorie générale. Les nominées sont les Volkswagen Polo, Chevrolet Volt et Opel Ampera. Le 10 janvier 2012 à 11h, a l'occasion de la journée de presse et VIP du 90ième Salon de l'Auto de Bruxelles, 3 d'entre elles, une dans chaque catégorie, recevront le tout premier titre de 'Clean Car of the Year'.
Dans la foulée de l'élection de la Voiture familiale de l'année, un concept bien connu du VAB, a été lancée voici quelques mois une initiative complémentaire. Le VAB, le Moniteur de l'Automobile/AutoGids, Effective Media et Clean Week 2020 (de Circuit Zolder) ont en effet mis sur pied l'élection de la 'Clean Car of the Year', aussi appelée 'Voiture Verte de l'Année - GroeneWagen van het Jaar'.
Après la première édition réussie l'année dernière, une nouvelle édition est tenue cette année. Les organisateurs ont décidé d'attribuer le titre dans la catégorie des citadines et des voitures de flotte. Maintenant, en 2012, une troisième catégorie est ajoutée: LA 'Clean Car of the Year', évaluée selon un principe 'well to wheel' ou 'cradle to cradle' pour le marché belge. Le gagnant dans cette catégorie sera exposée sur le stand de VAB et Circuit Zolder dans palais 8 sur Salon de l'Auto de Bruxelles 2012.
