Große Ereignisse werfen ihre Schatten voraus: Die Deutsche Rallycross Meisterschaft startet in zwei Wochen mit dem ersten Lauf in der Motorsport Arena Oschersleben (20./21. März) in die neue Saison. Dort wird es am Samstagabend (20. März) auch die DRX Warm Up Party geben – ein Muss für jeden Drifter als Einstimmung auf das neue Rennsport-Jahr.
Davor ist noch etwas an Arbeit zu bewältigen, jedoch nicht nur beim Schrauben an den Autos. Denn der Nennungsschluss rückt unaufhaltsam näher. Wer um Titel, Pokale und Punkte in der DRX kämpfen will, muss bis zum vorläufigen Nennungsschluss am 12. März (endgültiger Nennungsschluss 17. März) seine Unterlagen eingereicht haben.
Mit der Abgabe der Nennung für den DRX-Auftakt in Oschersleben können die Teilnehmer ihre Wunschstartnummer in den jeweiligen Divisionen frei wählen. Motto: „Wer zuerst nennt, hat die Wahl“. Die Veranstaltung des MSC Oschersleben ist das erste von insgesamt sieben Rennwochenenden in der Deutschen Rallycross Meisterschaft 2010. Dabei wird es auch eine doppelte Premiere geben: Erstmals gastieren auf dem Ewald-Pauli-Ring in Schlüchtern, als Autocross-Rennstrecke bestens bekannt, die Rallycross-Spezialisten. Und das gleich zweimal mit den DRX-Wertungsrennen 4 (12./13. Juni) und 5 (21./22. August). „Wir feiern in Schlüchtern noch eine Premiere“, sagt Harald Klemann, Vorsitzender des DMSB Fachausschusses Off-Road.
„Zum ersten Mal wird in der Deutschen Rallycross Meisterschaft eine sogenannte Joker-Lap gefahren. Diese Handicap-Runde, in der Europameisterschaft schon üblich, ist mindestens zwei Sekunden langsamer als eine normale und muss von jedem Fahrer einmal absolviert werden“, erläutert Klemann, der auch Mitglied in der FIA Off-Road Kommission ist. „Es erwartet uns also in diesem Jahr eine große Spannung versprechende Meisterschaft.“ Die DRX-Termine 2010 im Überklick (mit E-Mail-Adressen der Veranstalter):
