Biggest ever Domotex at Hannover DOMOTEX HANNOVER 2008, 12 to 15 January - Record figures for exhibitors and rented space
In terms of exhibitor numbers and rented space DOMOTEX HANNOVER (12 to 15 January 2008) has broken all previous records. The show will bring together 1,442 exhibitors (2007: 1,336) on a net display area of 97,083 sq. m. (2007: 91,757 sq. m.). Stephan Ph. Kühne, a member of the Deutsche Messe Managing Board, was quoted as follows: "Our expectations have been exceeded, due in particular to the general competitive situation and the very positive echo in the marketplace. DOMOTEX has reasserted its position as the number one event for the carpet and floor coverings sector." DOMOTEX HANNOVER ranks among the world's truly international trade fairs with 80 percent of the 1,442 exhibiting firms based outside Germany. The top ten countries of origin are Germany, Belgium, Turkey, the Netherlands, India, China, Italy, Iran, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. This year's show will feature a new group presentation staged by Afghanistan. All the major market players have signed up for DOMOTEX 2008. DOMOTEX HANNOVER attracts industry professionals from all over the globe. In 2007 around 26,000 visitors (out of a grand total of 44,000) came from outside German's borders - from 80 countries. No other trade show provides such an excellent opportunity to see what's available on the international floor coverings market and to tune into the latest trends and developments. DOMOTEX delivers unique benefits. Countless product innovations will be on show in the twelve halls. Visitors can look forward to a comprehensive overview of the best that's available worldwide.
