DUBAI RTA TEAM TRIUMPHS AFTER THUMPING 12-2 WIN
Hertz was one of five teams which took part in the annual Dubai Police tournament, the car rental firm sponsored the tournament.
A Dubai Roads and Transport Authority side emerged victorious in an annual indoor football tournament sponsored by Hertz.
The RTA Deira A team recorded an impressive 12-2 victory over the world’s largest car rental firm’s side in the annual six-a-side tournament at the Dubai Police Academy sport hall in Al Barsha.
Three Dubai RTA teams and one from the Jumeirah Group took part along with Hertz in the tournament, which was held over several days recently and which was first run in 2002.
Hertz General Manager Nigel Johnson, who was a key member of his team, said: "It was great fun and everyone had a good time. We have a great association with the police and our staff always enjoys strengthening relationships with people from other industries at these kinds of events."
