Intel Extreme Masters 2011/12 World Championship with 283,000 US Dollar in prize money
After the kick off of the 2011/12 season at gamescom 2011 in August, Global Challenges in Guangzhou (China), New York (US), Kiev (Ukraine) and Sao Paulo (Brazil), the new Champions of the World in eSports will be determined at CeBIT 2012.
Throughout the entire season the best pro-gamers from Europe, Asia and both Americas were fighting for their share of the 643,000 US Dollars - world's highest prize money for an international league for computer games.
The disciplines of the competition are Counter-Srike 1.6, StarCraft II and League of Legends.
