– Mika Mäki holte am Samstag als Dritter den achten Podestplatz für den Berliner Rennstall
Mit unterschiedlichen Ergebnissen absolvierte das Team Mücke Motorsport supported bei Schlüter aus Berlin-Altglienicke das vorletzten Rennwochenende in der Formel-3-Euroserie im französischen Le Mans (4./5. Oktober).
Während Mika Mäki am Samstag als Dritter hinter dem Franzosen Jules Bianchi und dem Briten Sam Bird den achten Podestplatz des Jahres für den Berliner Rennstall in der stärksten Nachwuchsserie der Welt eingefahren hatte, belegte der Finne am Sonntag Rang 20, nachdem er in der Anfangsphase des recht chaotischen Regen-Rennens in einen Crash verwickelt worden war.
Auch seine beiden Teamkollegen erreichten nicht die Punkteränge. Christian Vietoris (Gönnersdorf) wurde Zehnter, der Tscheche Erik Janis (alle Dallara Mercedes) kam auf Rang 13. Den Sieg am Sonntag holte sich der Kanadier Robert Wickens (Dallara Volkswagen).
Das Sonntagrennen auf dem 4,185 km lange Circuit Bugatti war wegen des einsetzenden Regens in der sechsten Runde unterbrochen und wenig später hinter dem Safety-Car neu gestartet worden. „Der Sonntag verlief enttäuschend für uns, zumal Mika gleich von einem Mitkonkurrenten ins Kiesbett geschickt wurde. Am Samstag hatte er eine tolle Leistung abgeliefert", sagte Teamchef Peter Mücke. R
ed-Bull-Junior Mäki bleibt aber Gesamtvierter und kann sich ebenso wie der sechstplatzierte Vietoris (am Freitag Schnellster im freien Training und am Samstag auf Rang fünf liegend wenigen Runden vor Schluss wegen eines technischen Problems ausgeschieden) noch Chancen auf den Vize-Titel hinter dem seit Samstag feststehenden Meister Nico Hülkenberg (Emmerich) ausrechnen.
Mäki hat nur neun Punkte Rückstand auf den Zweitplatzierten, Vietoris liegt 13 Zähler dahinter. In der Rookie-Wertung behauptete Mercedes-Junior Erik Janis (Samstag 15.) seine Spitzenposition. Hier liegt Mäki ebenfalls an vierter Stelle. In der Teamwertung ist Mücke Motorsport supported by Schlüter weiter Dritter.
Das Saisonfinale der Formel-3-Euroserie steht im Rahmenprogramm der Deutschen Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) vom 24. bis 26. Oktober in Hockenheim auf dem Programm.
