– In den Pre-Tests am Donnerstag schon vorn mit dabei
Die vorletzte Saisonstation steht für das Team Mücke Motorsport supported bei Schlüter aus Berlin-Altglienicke am kommenden Wochenende (3. bis 5. Oktober) in der Formel-3-Euroserie auf dem Programm. Im französischen Le Mans werden die Rennen 17 und 18 der stärksten Nachwuchsserie der Welt ausgetragen.
Zudem ist der Rennstall aus der deutschen Hauptstadt im 10. und damit vorletzten Saisonlauf der DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) auf dem 4,185 km lange Circuit Bugatti mit Ex-Formel-1-Pilot Ralf Schumacher aus Salzburg (Trilux AMG Mercedes C-Klasse 2007), der zuletzt in Barcelona als Siebter zum zweiten Mal in den Punkterängen war, und Maro Engel (Monaco/JungeSterne AMG Mercedes C-Klasse 2007) vertreten.
„Wir wollen an die Leistungen von Barcelona anknüpfen und auch in Le Mans um Punkte und Podestplätze kämpfen", sagte Teamchef Peter Mücke. In der spanischen Hauptstadt hatte Christian Vietoris als Dritter und Zweiter zweimal auf dem Siegerpodest gestanden. Der Gönnersdorfer sorgte damit für die Podestplätze Nummer 6 und 7 für das Team Mücke Motorsport supported by Schlüter in der Formel-3-Euroserie 2008.
Christian Vietoris, der einen Sieg, zwei zweite Plätze und einen dritten Rang auf seinem Konto hat, liegt in der Gesamtwertung auf den vierten Rang direkt vor seinem Teamkollegen Mika Mäki.
Der finnische Red-Bull-Junior (bisher zwei Siege, ein zweiter Platz) rangiert in der Rookie-Wertung auf Platz drei. In der Teamwertung ist der Berliner Rennstall ebenfalls Dritter. Die Spitzenposition in der Rookie-Wertung hat der Tscheche Erik Janis (alle Dallara Mercedes) erobert. Der Mercedes-Junior war in Barcelona zweimal Siebter geworden.
„Unsere drei Neueinsteiger haben sich in der Saison sehr gut entwickelt. Sie haben das Zeug dazu, vorn kräftig mitzumischen", betont Peter Mücke. Und dies haben seine drei Schützlinge bereits am Donnerstag (2. Oktober) in den beiden Pre-Tests unter Beweis gestellt.
Im ersten am Vormittag wurden Mäki Dritter, Vietoris Vierter und Janis Neunter. Am Nachmittag gab es die Ränge vier für Vietoris, sieben für Mäki und acht für Janis. „Das waren gute Leistungen, auf denen sich in Le Mans aufbauen lässt", sagt der Mücke-Motorsport-Chef.
