Hezemans fastest during Warm Up

It might only be 10 in the morning, but it is already really hot out on the track for the warm up session, the final session the drivers will have on the track before the championship race this afternoon.

The fastest time this session was set by Hezemans in the nr 6 Phoenix Carsport Racing Corvette Z06, 1:16.061. The nr 3 Selleslagh Racing Team Corvette Z06 of Bouchut and Maassen was second fastest, with a time of 1:16.265. The winners of race 1, Fässler and Deletraz in the nr 5 Phoenix Carsport Racing Corvette Z06 set the third fastest time of 1:16.272. These results really show that the circuit is very well suited to the Corvette’s performance.

In GT2, the nr 50 AF Corse Ferrari F430 of Vilander and Bruni was fastest this morning, with a time of 1:18.669. Second fastest, with a time of 1:18.975, was the nr 69 Team Felbermayr Proton Porsche of Felbermayr and Lietz. Third fastest were Russo and Companc in the nr 95 Advanced Engineering Ferrari F430, who set a best time of 1:19.021.

The winners of race 1, Kirkaldy and Bell in the nr 56 CR Scuderia Ferrari F430 did not participate.

The sole G2 car managed a best lap time of 1:22.391.
