Paolo Ruberti - from Le Mans podium to Adria's

Paolo Ruberti´s great shape continues: after the historic second place in the 24 Hours of Le Mans obtained last week, the Veronese driver concluded again on the podium, third place, at the Adria´s round of the FIA GT Championship.

A podium that could have perhaps been a victory if in the initial stages the crew-mate of Ruberti, Matteo Malucelli, had not been involved in a contact that pushed the number 77 F430 Ferrari back to the last position. A thrilling recovery followed with both drivers protagonist of a series of overtakings that took them again to a positive result.

"My season is proceeding in the best way: I have been on the podium three times in the last four races, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, therefore I cannot be but satisfied. Just the victory is missing, it could have probably arrived at Adria, should that inconvenient in the initial stages have not happened. Anyway, it is difficult to say if we would have managed to concretely attack the race leaders.

The title fight is still open even if the gap to Vilander and Bruni starts to be considerable. As every year, the 24 hours of Spa will be the crucial point of the season and it will determine who could aim to the championship´s crown".
