This first weekend of July is marked as an important date in the FIM Motocross World Championships calendars.
With the MX1 and MX2 Grand Prix of Sweden to get underway in Uddevalla and the MX3 Dutch round to be held in Markelo, the standings at the end of each event will define the first 15 riders who will benefit from the travel allowance for the overseas rounds paid by series promoter Youthstream.
The MX1/MX2 series will head to Nelspruit for the South African GP on July 20 while the MX3 series will race in Chile at Laguna Caren on August 3.
Both Youthstream and the FIM/CMS agreed on choosing the standings after these two events as the base to define the list of the 15 riders being paid the travel allowance for the overseas rounds. This choice will facilitate the logistic operations for the two transfers.
The Official Carrier and Official Travel Agency of the FIM Motocross World Championship Impeco Motor Sport Services Srl will take care of shipping the material to the overseas venues and back.
All teams sending material overseas can contact Impeco, which will be present in Uddevalla and Markelo during the whole weekend.
For the MX3 series, the pickup of the material will be carried out in the Slovakian round in Sverepec, on July 20, and the material will be given back in the Finnish round in Heinola, on August 17.
