To celebrate his first season in the World Rally Championship with Red Bull, the 2007 Formula One World Champion Kimi Raikkonen - known simply as "The Iceman" - is launching an eye-catching new clothing range on Rally Finland.

Raikkonen, the winner of 18 Grands Prix, embarked on a fresh challenge earlier this year when he switched to rallying full-time, displaying his breathtaking talent and spectacular commitment to a whole new audience.

Now, all of Kimi's many fans can share his rallying adventure through the new "iceman" clothing range, launched on his home rally.

The clothes bear the same famous "iceman" logo that Kimi sports on his helmet, as well as the Red Bull logo.

Kimi is introducing the new clothing line with a range of headgear this month. The hats have been designed by a close friend of Kimi's, Uffe, and they perfectly reflect the iceman's individual and personal style.

Made out of high-quality materials, the clothes - just like Kimi himself - are all about quality, fashion, and sophistication. For any Kimi fan, they are an essential accessory both on and off the world's rally stages.

"My personal style is important to me, so I was very happy to bring out these new hats," commented Kimi. "I chose Uffe to design everything as he did a very good job when he designed my helmet. Of course I was really involved in the design myself and we had a lot of fun doing it. I hope people like wearing my stuff too, but I think they will. It's the sort of thing I wear myself: it's a comfortable and cool look."

So far, around 21000 units of Kimi's clothing have been sold: underlining his huge popularity. The hats can be purchased on Rally Finland, from the official WRC merchandise store in the service park and also from Finland's Rally Shop.

A total of five separate sales crews will be selling the hats on nearly all the special stages too. From the end of July, the merchandise will also be available on www.kimiraikkonen.com and www.wrc.com, through the WRC shop.

In addition, there will be around 200 permanent points of sale in Finland. The main distributors will be the ABC gasoline chain and the shops of Finnish phone operator DNA, Kimi's personal sponsor.

As well as on land, Kimi's products will also be sold at sea: notably on the Silja/Tallink Line between Tallin and Stockholm. The action in rallying is frequently red hot, but now everybody has the chance to look like the iceman.
