FORMULA MASTER ROUND 14 - IMOLA
The 18-year-old New Zealander passed Team JVA's Josef Kral on lap two and kept the lead for the remainder of the 21-lap race.
Kral maintained his second place to the chequered flag, ahead of Jenzer Motorsport's Fabio Leimer who claimed his second podium finish of the weekend.

"We were aiming to get a good start but it didn't happen as planned as Josef [Kral] kept the lead, but I managed to get past on the second lap. I then tried to get in some quick laps and get a good lead. We were very fortunate that Fabio [Leimer] didn't get past Josef earlier in the race, as he was extremely fast.
"It was a really good result for my first weekend with the international series. The team did a really good job and the car had a fantastic set-up for this track; I think the car could have gone even faster."

JD Motorsport's Chris van der Drift claimed his sixth pole of the season today for Formula Master's round 13 in Imola, Italy, with a best time of 1:39.065.
The New Zealander secured pole position just 0.029 seconds ahead of title rival Fabio Leimer, driving for Jenzer Motorsport, whose best lap of 1:39.094 awarded him a front row start for tomorrow's race.
