Second qualifying session was dry and driver was able to lap ADM race track a lot faster but still Aleksander Kramarskiy set pole position with 1.50.561. In the race Aleksander Kramarskiy added one more victory to his tally of four wins but unlike race 1 this time Maksim Chernev kept him under pressure from start to finish, ready to snatch victory if Kramarskiy make mistake.

“I had no problems during start and from second lap onwards Maksim Chernev started to pile pressure on me. I guess under pressure I started to loose concentration and had many unforced mistakes. My rival had slight advantage over me, he retired in race one and his tires was in better state. I had to apply all me knowledge to defend me position. I can tell that for a long time I wasn’t hoping for race finish that anxiously.”

 

With no big mistakes from Kramarskiy camp Chernev had to settle for second. For Maksim Travin this weekend bought only disappointment, drivershaft failure disallowed him to leave grid and driver retired even before race had started.

Having started from fourth place on grid Stanislav Chemakin finished third and set fastest lap of race! Despite messed-up start Denis Komarov finished fourth. Fifth place was taken by Kiki Firas – his best results in career.

Vladislav Stupenkov was best of Dunlop Rising Stars pupls and finished 6th.

"I applied all my knowledge I had thanks to people who taught me during testing. Second race was a lot easier; I had no problems with car and drove at my own pace. For most of the race I tried to catch-up with Kiki Firas but he was faser and I settled for what I had."

Richard Asher took 7th place – good result for Formula RUS rookie. After the finish driver said that he understood basics of single seater driving but he kept improving his laptimes until the chequered flag, so there was more to come.

Yuri Kim couldn’t evade problems and had to pit for repairs, one lap behind leader he rejoined to finish 8th.

For Dunlop Rising Stars drivers Aleshin and Kalmanovich second heat was less successful.

Pavel Kalmanovich (team «Dunlop Rising Stars:»):

"On approach to hairpin Andrey Kostushenko hit me and I spun. I got back last and my car was damaged. I pitted for diffuser repairs and lost one lap in pits. After I just kept going till finish"

Pavel Aleshin (team «Dunlop Rising Stars:»):

"On formation lap I had to take evasive action, Kiki Firas slowed down considerable and I had to break formation to avoid his car. That happened before green and I was awarded 30 seconds penalty. During the race I kept 4th position and overtook both my teammate Stupenkov and Denis Komarov but with 6 laps to go driveshaft went bust. Hard luck."
