The partnership between Matteo Bobbi and GPC Squadra Corse continues with very good results after the victory harvested last Sunday at Mugello in the Italian Sara GT Championship.
The Milanese driver, sharing the drive with Giacomo Ricci, got today on the second place of the podium at the end of the second race held on the city track of Valencia, valid for the International GT Open Championship. A fifth place was the outcome of yesterday´s first manche, which has been spoiled by 10´´ penalty given due to Ricci´s results in the previous round of the series.
Matteo Bobbi:
"I am really satisfied of confirming the victory at Mugello with this podium in a high level competition as the International GT Open.
Without the penalty we could have finished third in race one, while due to a contact in the initial stages of race two we had to run a recovery second manche.
These results take us in the best way to the summer break. I will be busy anyway with my training before getting back behind the wheel in September."
