After the pole position of Alessandro Balzan, on Saturday the second victory of the season seemed to be at reach. In the first stint the Italian driver managed to keep the lead with authority before giving the wheel to his team mate Max Mugelli. Unfortunately, when the race was getting to his conclusion, a technical problem to a tyre forced the number 4 Ferrari F430 to the retirement vanishing in this way the good job done by the drivers up to that point.
Linossi and Mugelli got on the podium, second, after a thrilling race with a recovery started from the eight place. Solieri and La Mazza concluded thirteenth instead.
In race two, Linossi and Mugelli got very close to the podium, fourth, followed by the team mates Mugelli and Balzan. Solieri and La Mazza concluded in fifteenth position.

"Honestly I was hoping for a victory in race one after Balzan´s pole position, but unfortunately a tyre failure sent Mugelli out just a few minutes before the end of the race while he was holding the lead.
Mediani and Linossi achieved anyway a great second place, that together with the result of race two keeps the title fight still open."
