Mahaveer Raghunathan (17 years) will participate in the Auto GP Formula 2016 Open Championship.The Indian driver has tested in early February in Barcelona for two days, with the fastest time in 1'32 "9, in the presence of engineer Enrique Scalabroni.


The car has covered 560 km. and was equipped with Pirelli tires, tires in negotiations for the supply of the championship. The Indian driver will communicate shortly the name of the team in the series organized by Enzo Coloni. Raghunathan, in addition to Auto GP, will also attend the GP3 with the team Koiranen.


Auto GP Formula Open 2016 is reserved for single-seater cars from 2 liters or more, with first race at Monza (May 22).
