Rahal Kicks Off IndyCar® Series Live Driver Chats on Wednesday, June 18th
Other than exciting racing, there is only one thing that race fans cannot get enough of; access to their favorite drivers. Watkins Glen International will continue to provide that coveted opportunity by giving fans the chance to chat with drivers from the IndyCar Series leading up to the Camping World Grand Prix at The Glen, July 4-6. Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing driver Graham Rahal will be the featured guest for the live chat on Wednesday, June 18th, at 7:30 PM.
The live chats are open to all race fans that are registered on the WGI Fan Talk Forum. All fans will need to do in order to participate is log into the fan forum and click on the link that appears following a successful login. Not registered yet?

The 30-minute live chats will be held every Wednesday at 7:30 PM leading up to the Camping World Grand Prix at The Glen. Every live chat will feature a driver that competes in the IndyCar Series and Rahal will kick off the live chats. An as-of-yet unannounced IndyCar Series driver will be available to chat with fans on Wednesday, June 25th. Andretti Green Racing driver Tony Kanaan is confirmed for the final live chat on Wednesday, July 2nd.
Graham Rahal joined the ranks of the IndyCar Series following the series’ unification with the Champ Car World Series. He found victory in his first start with the IndyCar Series during the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg in April 2008. The win made Rahal the youngest winner in the history of IndyCar Series competition.
Rahal will be competing at Watkins Glen International for the first time in his career during the Camping World Grand Prix. The trip to Watkins Glen International will also be Rahal’s first trip to a road course with the IndyCar Series since his win at St. Petersburg. Rahal grew up around open wheel racing as his father, Bobby Rahal, was a three-time open wheel racing champion, the 1986 Indianapolis 500 Champion, and a Hall of Fame race car driver.
Tickets for the historic 60th Anniversary Season at Watkins Glen International are on-sale now! The stars of the IndyCar Series will be at The Glen in less than three weeks for the Camping World Grand Prix at The Glen, July 4-6.
General admission tickets for Kids 12 and under are FREE during the July 4-6 event weekend when accompanied by an adult. The actuion will continue with the Centurion Boats at The Glen NASCAR Sprint Cup and Zippo 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series weekend highlights the summer action, August 7-10.
