CIK-FIA European Superkart Championship, Round 2, Assen (NLD), 6-8/08/2010 UK’s Gavin Bennett (Anderson-DEA) dominated this event from start to finish. He was fastest in both qualifying practice sessions and his time of 1’37’’3 (168.5 km/h) in the 2nd session was the quickest Superkart lap all weekend. For the fifth event of the series, the limelight shifted to a new set of winners, that is except for Max 177 where David Griffiths was uncatchable. Scottish driver Adam MacKay stormed to the front in the first MiniMax final, and easily maintained that position throughout the second.
