WSK International Series at South Garda International Circuit Lonato At South Garda International Circuit Lonata (Italy) the Challenge between the WSK International Series "Champions" groes on.From May 8th to 11th 231 registered drivers will be in hot pursuit of the leaders - Stevens KF1 - Smarazzo KF2 and Maisano KF3 The WSK pretenders will have at Lonato their return match... From Thursday, 8 th to Sunday, 11 th the South Garda Circuit in Lonato, Brescia will host a heat weekend of WSK International Series, at its third round after the season’s debut at Muro Leccese (Italy) and the second round at Angerville (France). The categories admitted at the races in Lonato are KF1, KF2 and KF3. The KZ2 will be at its second and last rest shift. KF1... Six riders in a range of 8 points... After only two rounds Drivers’ classifications look full of interesting elements. KF1 has got as many as six opportunities to increase the score: to the Final and Prefinal it may be added the score bonus to the three first qualified in the SuperPole, that is considered the third racing chance by now. This way the KF1 classification has already a definite arrangement with as many as six leading drivers at a range of 8 points. Will Stevens (TonyKart/Vortex/Bridgestone) prevails at La Conca answering Jonathan Thonon (CRG/Maxter/Bridgestone) who defeated everybody in the SuperPole. Things are different in France where Armand Convers (PCR/TM/Bridgestone) surprises everyone by winning the SuperPole. Later Anthony Abbasse (Sodi/Parilla/Bridgestone) achieves the Prefinal whereas Jason Parrot (Birel/Parilla/Bridgestone) gains a very hard final. From the consistent Mark Lichtfield, the unlucky Gary Catt (both on a TonyKart/Vortex/Bridgestone), the "bulldog" Sauro Cesetti (Birel/TM/Bridgestone) to the interesting Alessandro Bressan (Kosmic/Vortex/Bridgestone) the picture of the leading group is complete. With the arrival of different temperatures as much decisive changes are expected. Sure enough, Jack Te Braak (Zanardi/Parilla/Bridgestone) amazing in Muro Leccese and Antonio Piccioni (FA Kart/Vortex/Bridgestone) at his best, reckon to reach the top of the classification. Not to mention the champion Davide Forè Maranello/ Maxter/ Bridgestone) who is waiting the right moment to be back at the top. KF2 comes again ... After a turn of rest, Aniello Smarrazzo (FA Kart/Vortex/Bridgestone) that was unbeatable at La Conca and leader of class KF2, is now all psyched up. Paolo De Conto and Jack Harvey being his first pursuers in a ranking drawn up on the opening round, are waiting now to take their chance. For the same reason also Robert FosterJones (FA Kart/Vortex/Bridgestone) and Mirko Luciani (TonyKart/TM/Bridgestone) fourth and fifth, may easily improve their result at the next opportunity. A big fight in KF3, too... In Angerville, Brandon Maisano (Intrepid/TM/Dunlop) weathers well the elements by paying attention only to score points and takes the lead in KF3. At his back a menacing Mackenzie Taylor (FA Kart/TM/Dunlop) recovers a missed weekend in Muro Leccese thanks to a double perfect score in Angeville. Nick De Vries (Zanardi/XTR/Dunlop) on the contrary after having won the first Italian round gets no score in France. Nicolai Moller Madsen (TonyKart/Vortex/Dunlop) is a driver to keep an eye on seeing that after a good race achieves a fourth place in the ranking. The same may be remarked on Raffaele Marciello (Spirit/TM/Dunlop) and Michelle Gatting (Gillard/XTR/Dunlop) that quick to take the most of any favourable opportunity are respectively fifth and sixth.
