Pierre Ehret erstmals mit Le Mans Series in Portugal am Start
31.07.2009: Nach einer längeren Sommerpause kommt es kommenden Wochenende zum 3. Lauf der Le Mans Series. Pierre Ehret wird erneut mit einem Ferrari in der Klasse GT2 an den Start gehen.
3. Lauf Le Mans Series, Algarve/Portugal (30. Juli bis 01. August 2009)
Nach einer längeren Sommerpause kommt es kommenden Wochenende zum 3. Lauf der Le Mans Series. Pierre Ehret wird erneut mit einem Ferrari in der Klasse GT2 an den Start gehen.
Der 3. Lauf der Sportwagenserie ist gleichzeitig die Premiere in einem neuen Land und auf einer brandneuen Rennstrecke. Sowohl in Portugal als auf dem „Autódromo internacionale Algarve“ ist die Le Mans Series noch nicht aufgetreten.
Die 4 652 Meter lange Strecke liegt im Süden Portugals, 70 Kilometer westlich von Faro, vor den Toren Portimaos. Die Bedingungen sind für alle Teams gleich, da hier noch kein Rennen der Serie ausgetragen wurde.
Pierre Ehret wird im Team von Farnbacher Racing erneut mit dem Franzosen Anthony Beltoise und dem Lichtenauer Dominik Farnbacher an den Start in einem Ferrari 430 GT gehen.
Besonderes Feeling herrscht sicherlich beim Rennen, das um 19.15 Uhr startet und gegen 1.15 Uhr im milden südeuropäischen Klima beendet sein wird. Das Qualifying wird am Freitagabend ab 19.40 Uhr ausgetragen. Zeitplan Le Mans Series GT2 Algarve (Portugal)
