British Business Group hosts a perspective by Dubai Chamber

The British Business Group, Dubai and the Northern Emirates (BBG) will welcome H.E. Hamad Buamim, Director General of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at a lunch on Wednesday, 27 February.

Mr Buamim will share Dubai Chamber’s vision for the role and importance of business in the ongoing development of Dubai and will share unique research and statistics developed by the DCCI to inform the BBG about services which businesses in the UAE can use to enhance their profitability.

"Among the 34 business groups established by Dubai Chamber and operating under its umbrella, British Business Group (BBG) has been very active and highly contributed to the brisk business British companies are enjoying in the region," said H.E. Hamad Buamim. "Acting as a promoter and protector of the business community’s interests, and a messenger that voices the concerns of its members, Dubai Chamber extended its assistance and services to the British business community in Dubai a long time ago through the BBG, one of the oldest business groups established by Dubai Chamber."

Mr. Buamim added "Supporting the activities of British businesspeople in Dubai, Dubai Chamber coordinates with the BBG to keep promoting their business and providing them with value-added services, as well as working on attracting more British investors benefiting from Dubai Government’s support to Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs)."

The lunch, which takes place at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, will be another opportunity for the business community in Dubai to hear first hand from a visionary leader who is instrumental in the develop of the Emirate.

"The BBG has started this year with an outstanding quality of speakers and H.E. Hamad Buamim adds significantly to that", said Mark Beer, Chairman and CEO of the BBG. "Our members benefit from the insights about the future direction of Dubai which we receive from leaders such as H.E. Buamim, who are instrumental in shaping the Emirate.
