Two historic French brands unite to offer a clothing line. Hungaria, the oldest French sports brand and Ligier, the legendary race car brand, combine their images in a chic and sporty range.

Founded in 1931, Hungaria had its peak in the 70’s. Since July 2017, the brand is owned by HUNGARIA SARL, which is owned by ROYER BRAND International and Pierre ARCENS. H31, a wholly owned subsidiary of the ROYER Group, the European leader in footwear distribution, is the company that operates the distribution and promotion of the brand.

Hungaria is already very involved in many sports. Partner including Stade de Reims in football, Rugby Club Toulonnais, Stade Rochelais and Oyonnax Rugby for the 2018-2019 season.

The brand also accompanies BMW in golf and ultimately, aims to become the brand of French sportswear chic. With Ligier, Hungaria is now strengthening its involvement in motorsport.

Ligier will celebrate its 50th birthday next year. Rich of a mythical sports past, including more than twenty years in Formula 1, the brand made its comeback in endurance and the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2014.

A wide range of sports prototypes makes the brand shine on the circuits in Europe, in the United States and in Asia. In 2018, eight Ligier JS P217 will be present on the starting grid of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Thirty Ligier JS P3 will also participate in Road to Le Mans, the support race for this event.

Hungaria's teams have developed a men's and women's collection for the Ligier brand. The theme blue, white and red reflects the image of these two French brands steeped in history.

The Ligier x Hungaria collection is available in June at the following two points of sale:

•    Galeries Lafayette, 17-21 rue des Minimes - 72000 Le Mans, from May 25th to June 19th, 2018.

•    Official Ligier Shop, Le Mans 24 Hours Circuit Village *, on June 3rd, and from June 13th to 17th, 2018.

* accessible with a general ticket of 24 Hours of Le Mans 2018

It will also be available online at the end of the year on the new Hungaria website.
