China HomLife expo creates new Silk Road to Middle East market
Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade at the China Homlife Show’s official opening ceremony at Airport Expo Dubai.
The region’s largest exhibition of Chinese home products was officially inaugurated today by Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade.
More than 200 Chinese suppliers of furniture, textiles, electronics, interior decorations, kitchen and bathroom equipment, building materials, and products for mothers and children are participating in the China HomLife Show (www.homlife.ae), which takes place until Thursday at the Airport Expo Dubai.
According to the event organisers Meorient International Group, high profile Chinese manufacturers and suppliers of home products are using the exhibition to expand their regional business operations and to source distribution partners across the GCC.
Pan Jianjun, General Manager of the Meorient International Group said: “Many famous Chinese enterprises have chosen the China Homlife Show in Dubai as their new Silk Road to the Middle East market. They are participating in the event to promote their brands and meet new business partners.
“With over 1,000 products on display, the exhibition also provides a unique sourcing platform for trade visitors and consumers looking for high quality and cost-effective home products from China.”
Running alongside the show, the China Modern Calligraphy and Paintings exhibition will showcase traditional calligraphy and painting works created by great artists. The exhibition is being held outside of China for the first time in Dubai, following successful events staged in Beijing, Shanghai, Wenzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen and Macau.
The launch exhibition has attracted some of China’s leading suppliers of home products such as furniture manufacturer Xilinmen, artistic home textile producer Yunlong Embroidery Co, Ningbo Winwin Industrial Company Ltd, the first company to produce child safety seats in China and refrigerator manufacturer Ningbo Huacai Electric Appliances Co., Ltd.
The event has also gained the support of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Ningbo Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau and the Bureau of Commerce Qingdao.
