This weekend it will be the fourth race for FIM MX3 World Championship and EMX2 European Championship in Plomion, 150 kilometres from Paris.

Moto club Plomion was founded in 1971. The lenght of the race track is 2000 metres. It is a fast race track and it offers a good view to spectators. In Plomion they had organize many international events. In 1992 there was the event for 125 cc category and it was won by home rider Yves Demaria. Since than there were many events, that were won by Belgian Joel Smets.

In 1996 they organized World Championship event for 500 ccm. The winner was Shayne King from Republic of South Africa. That year 17000 spectators came in Plomion, to see the event. It was a special achievement for the club. In 2000 there was another international event for 125 cc and it was won by British rider Carl Nunn. In 2006 and 2007 in Plomion were two side car World Championships, both won by Willemsen from Netherland.

This weekend there will compete more than 100 riders from 17 countries. Everyone in France expect big success of home riders, who are very strong this season. In FIM MX3 World Championship here will be also the winner of the first event ot the season Tomas Allier and another French Chrisophe Martin. Both of them are Husqvarna riders and they know the race track better than other rivals. Allier comes from Picardy, that is placed in area of Plomion. He was participating here many times. In 2000 he won the race for French Championship in 85 cc.

Also Martin knows this race track very well. He comes from Champagne and he won the race for French Championship in 2006. It was a very muddy race and it seems this weekend in Plomion riders will compete in similar conditions. After three events Martin is on eighth position in World Championship Classification, while Allier is eleventh.

Allier and Martin will not be only favorites this weekend. In three events we saw three different winners. This season riders are very close to eachother and here are many riders who can win the race. Also Italian Cristian Beggi is one of them. He got double victory a week ago in Italy and became the leader in World Championship Classification. Czech rider Jan Zaremba can be one of the candidates for the victory, too. He got podium in all three events, but did not win any race. Belgium KTM rider Sven Breugelmans is also desirous of the victory. Last year's vice World Champion got two podiums this season and he is still waiting for the highest stair of the podium.

MX3 World Championship riders will have a company of MX1 GP rider Julien Bill from Switzerland. Bill will come to France for a training, while MX1 riders do not have their event this weekend. He is capable to stole the best position in fourth MX3 World Championship event, like MX1 GP rider Sebastien Pourcel did in Castelnau.

In EMX2 European Championship two French riders are leading the Championship. KTM rider Valentin Teillet who won the last event, is seventeen points infront of Kawasaki rider Loic Larrieu. Here come another three French riders who are top ten in Championship Classification: third rider from the last event Cedric Soubeyras, Loic Rombaut and Christophe Charlier.
