Kenseth To Start Fourth in Homestead Cup Finale

... His Third Career Title; Silverado Increases Driver's Championships to Nine in NCTS Competition

Willie Allen Claims 2007 Raybestos Rookie of the Year Honors

Ron Hornaday, Jr., No. 33 Camping World Silverado, will carry of the title of the 2007 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) champion to become a three-time Series' champion. His first title came in 1996 and he claimed his second in 1998.

Tonight's championship-winning effort by Hornaday is also the first-ever NASCAR national championship for Hornaday's team owners, Kevin and DeLana Harvick of Kevin Harvick, Inc.

Hornaday's championship is the ninth time a Silverado driver has won the NCTS top-prize in the 13-year history of the Series, more than any other manufacturer.

Hornaday came to Homestead-Miami Speedway in second place, 29 points behind the leader and claimed his title with a 54 point margin.

Willie Allen, No. 13 ThorSport Silverado, clinched the Raybestos Rookie of the Year honors.

Matt Crafton, No. 88 Menards/Johns Manville Silverado, finished eighth in the final standings.

Ron Hornaday, Jr., No. 33 Camping World Silverado, Qualified 8th, Finished 7th: Coming to the race track with a truck like we've got every weekend. These guys have done an awesome job with this Chevrolet truck. I think the whole change was when Camping World came on board. I won a lot of races with that blue and yellow and it comes back right now. So this is really cool."

Kevin Harvick, No. 2 Camping World, Qualified 7th, Finished 4th: It's taken us six years to get the truck team to where it's at and we have a great driver in Ron Hornaday. It's hard to race and race in that position and try to win the race and that's what we tried to do there at the end.

I was a little tough on my truck, but man, the coolest part about this whole thing is just being able to stop and be the first one to congratulate Ron Hornaday on the back straightaway.

He's done so much for my racing career and to be able to win a championship with him and a lot of the guys that grew up with me in my racing career is something I'll never forget. So that makes it pretty special."

Rick Ren, No. 33 Camping World Silverado - '07 Champion Crew Chief

YOU'VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR A LONG TIME. WHERE DOES THIS STACK UP IN ALL YOUR MEMORIES OF RACING?

"Well, you know they don't give these things away and we've been trying for an awfully long time. I told Ron Hornaday earlier this year, I said, 'I know you've got some of those rings but I don't have one and I think we need to work really hard to get one,' and I don't know what else to say. This is what we do this for and it's like a dream come true."

NOW YOU ARE A CHAMPION CREW CHIEF. HOW DOES THAT FEEL?

"Well I just asked Hornaday how long this takes to sink in because it hasn't sunk in yet. I'll tell you, this is my 18th year doing this and I couldn't be prouder of all these Camping World guys and everybody at KHI. It's going to take a while to sink in."

Kyle Busch, No. 51 Miccoosukee Resorts Silverado, Qualified 14th, Finished 2nd: "Well, it was just a "expletive" caution by NASCAR there at the end you know. It was really uncalled for. The guy didn't even spin out. But we finished second tonight. I'm proud of all these guys. They really gave me a great truck. You know we were terrible there at the beginning of the race. We didn't even deserve to finish second.

When you get out front like that and you've got a race that's going your way like that, you pretty much hope for the best. But congratulations to Johnny (Benson). He had a better truck there at the end; one that would turn and would hold the bottom. Mine wouldn't do it. So I couldn't hold him off."
