
Scuderia Playteam SaraFree, having just returned from Istanbul and the presentation with the Galatasaray team, has not lost any time and was present this morning at the GT Open and Euroseries 3000 official tests that took place respectively in Valencia and Vallelunga today.
The GT division, taking part in the Spanish Championship with the two Ferrari F430s, has spent the first test day with the drivers potential selected for Italian SaraFree GT Championship The cold and windy day (11 °) Thomas Kemenater (1.38.2) and Gianluca Tedoldi (1.41.0) alternating on the track. According to Max Busnelli they were very close to the absolute best time of the day (1.35.859).
"It was a good session for preparing the car" according to Busnelli who worked throughout the morning on the setup with the Pirelli tires and worked to his best on the set up of the cars so that they could obtain the best possible times. He also noted how well Thomas Kemenater worked throughout the morning in order to build confidence in adapting to the track thus aligning his times with the best teams in the competition. Gianluca Tedoldi also noted that it was a very positive work session aimed at obtaining the best balance between absolute performance and regularity.
Tomorrow the GT Open’s drivers Maceratesi / Montermini and Giao / Couceiro will get out on the track. The second test day starts at 09.00 and the team is hoping for somewhat milder weather conditions.
Meanwhile, under the supervision of the new technical director Gabriele Tredozi, the Formula division was committed in the capital for the Euroseries 3000 official tests.
The Spaniard Celso Miguez who competed in the Euroseries 3000 last season was on the track Monday. He faced a difficult session, partly affected by bad weather and rain, but with a good best time (1.33.566). Tomorrow it will be the turn for the second car with Alessandro Pier Guidi at the wheel.
