In February 2008, Lotus Sport unveiled the new Lotus Exige Cup 260. This car is a direct development of the 2007 Exige Cup Car, with a revised engine management system taking the power output up by nearly 5 hp to 257 hp.
Bespoke performance enhancements offer a car with great levels of handling and acceleration, taking the car to an estimated sub 10-second 0-100 mph speed.
Also, in traditional Lotus style, weight saving is paramount. Weighing in at just 928 kg, the power to weight ratio is an impressive 271 hp / tonne, which in all makes a superlative track car.
