Maranello Kart will field a good set of drivers in the second round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship in Siena on June 9th.

Maranello Kart and its drivers are about to compete in a particularly interesting race this coming weekend at the second round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship, event to take place at the Circuit of Siena from June 6th to 9th. Categories KZ2, 60 Mini, KZN Under and Over – at their debut – and Iame X30 will be on track for a total of 260 drivers.

A good number of drivers will compete on Maranello Kart that will be represented by its official team SG Race and other satellite teams like Quaranta Racing Motor (reseller of region Puglia), Sambataro Racing (Sicily), Oracle and Kart Evolution (Tuscany) and Monti Racing Team (Marche and Abruzzo).

Expectations are high in KZ2 on Francesco Iacovacci of team SG Race, who has been among the protagonists of the opener in Castelletto di Branduzzo claiming two podiums. Iacovacci will head to Siena holding on to the second place of the classification, resolute to pull another good result after the successful test held last week in Siena in occasion of the Regional Championship. Maranello Kart will also field Gabrio Bizzozzero and Alberto La Gala in KZ2.

KZN will also make it to the track for its first of three rounds in Siena with the two categories Under (up to 35 years) and Over (from 36 years). A lot of drivers will defend Maranello’s colors in Under: namely, Michael Dalle Stelle, Francesco Simonazzi, Mattia Giannini, Andrea Pasquinelli, Salvatore Nania, Andrea Caregnato, Fabrizio Del Brutto, Kevin Ceccarelli, Niko Petrino and Leonardo Pelosi. Maranello Kart’s presence in Over is also going to be great and will include 2018 Champion Cristian Griggio, Alberto Veneruso, Andrea Spagni, Attilio Borghi, the Portuguese Frederigo Figueiredo De Castro, Andrea Fortuna, Aniello Di Biase, Jacopo Vanelli, Sebastiano De Matteo and Luigi Lo Certo.

Maranello Kart will compete in X30 Junior (the entry list is still provisional) with Mattia Simonini and Alessio MIgliucci, and in 60 Mini with Simone Frasca. Other drivers are still to be entered.

PROGRAM. Free practice will kick off the event on Thursday, June 6th at 8.30 (KZN excluded). Further free practice for all categories will take place on Friday, June 7th, at 8.00, while official practice and qualifying practice will follow. Qualifying heats and second chance races will keep drivers busy on Saturday, June 8th. The double final of each category will be on Sunday from 9.40 and 14.15.

LIVE ON TV AND STREAMING. AutoMotoTV (Sky 148) will cover the races live on Sunday June 9th, while the live streaming feed will be available from the Facebook page of the Italian ACI Karting Championship.
