Pre-bidding for the second annual Le Petit Elegance auction is open until 5 p.m. ET Friday.
Pre-bidding for the second annual Le Petit Elegance auction is being extended until 5 p.m. ET on Friday, September 26. The list of donated items auction has grown to more than 100 unique selections that represent both the racing and non-racing communities.
Le Petit Elegance is a unique charity event to "Drive Away" Breast Cancer with 100 percent of the proceeds benefitting the Emory Department of Surgery Breast Cancer Research. The initial effort in 2007 earned $44,000 for the cause.
American Le Mans Series teams, drivers, manufacturers, partners and supporters have assembled the largest known collection of Series memorabilia in support of the event.

Registration to attend Le Petit Elegance remains open and can be made by clicking on the Le Petit Elegance tab of the homepage of the American Le Mans Series' web site or by emailing LPE@americanlemans.com. The event will run from 3-8 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 28 at Road Atlanta.
Petit Le Mans powered by the Totally New MAZDA6 is the 10th round of the 2008 American Le Mans Series. The 1,000-mile/10-hour race is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. Saturday, October 4 from Road Atlanta in Braselton, Ga. SPEED will televise the race live with XM Satellite Radio airing live race coverage throughout the day on Channel 166.
Live coverage from American Le Mans Radio will be available at www.americanlemans.com, which also will feature IMSA's Live Timing & Scoring.
Geneva-based racing driver Harold Primat has been signed by Creation AIM for the British team’s assault on the prestigious Petit Le Mans endurance race in the USA.
