· As we head into the penultimate race of the 2006 season, the victor of both the Constructors’ and Drivers’ Championship titles is still to be decided. As such, Ferrari will be looking to get the most reliable and high performing package from Shell in order to reap maximum points.
· Shell will therefore be supplying Shell V-Power ULG 62L/5 fuel, Shell Helix SL-0932 engine oil and Shell Spirax L-10193 gearbox oil. These formulations hold excellent track records having already performed in winning races this season.

· The Shell hydraulic fluid in the 248 F1 must be exceptionally clean to do its job properly.
Before it can be used, the hydraulic fluid is filtered in order to remove all particles down to three microns - that’s 20 times finer than the width of a human hair!

With the 2006 Formula 1 season rapidly approaching its finale, Panasonic Toyota Racing will this weekend enjoy its home race, the Japanese Grand Prix. The penultimate event of the 18-race season will also be the last grand prix to be held at Suzuka before the venue switches to the Fuji International Speedway in 2007. Conditions were wet and miserable for the two morning practices, meaning David and Christian used full wet tyres for both sessions. While the Japanese spectators tried to keep dry under their umbrellas on the grandstands, the Red Bull Racing duo completed 27 laps, although a throttle sensor problem prevented Christian from starting his final run of the morning.
