Clos' loss is Van der Drift's gain

17.07.2006: Clos' loss is Van der Drift's gain

Dani Clos (Jenzer Motorsport) was disqualified from the second race in Misano due the technical non-compliance of his Formula Renault 2.0. The Spaniard forfeits the win, which goes instead to Chris Van der Drift (JD Motorsport).

At the end of the race, the Scrutineers found that the height of the diffuser on Dani Clos' single-seater did not comply with the Eurocup regulations.

The Stewards have therefore disqualified the driver from the race.
