In special stage 2 (El Montmell 1) an accident occurred involving competitors No. 53 and 54. Car No. 54 went off the road, but the crew was uninjured. The first stage of the second leg of the Movistar Rally Catalunya has been cancelled because of spectator problems. Just five cars registered times on the stage before the decision was taken to suspend it.
