JAS MOTORSPORT - NEW ACCORD SUPER 2000 IS NOW READY!!

JAS Motorsport has finally unveiled the 2006 version of their Honda Accord Euro R FIA Super 2000, evolution of the car which claimed one pole position and several Indipendent wins in the WTCC 2005.

The new Accord includes a number of upgradings, the most important of which is certainly the engine. The well known Honda engine, considered unanimously one of the best Super 2000 power units, has been totally redesigned to compete against the most qualified works' teams in the WTCC 2006.

The aerodynamic kit has also been renewed to suit the face lift of the Accord 2006 from which it derives. Front bumper and splitter as well as the front grid are significantly different from the previous version, in the continuous search for maximum aero efficiency and improved cooling capacity.

The JAS-made Accords will compete in the Swedish Championship (STCC) with Tomas Engstrom, in the Danish Championship (DKTC) by Hartmann Racing and will also participate to the Nurburbring 24-hours with the Team Honda Challenge, a non-professional Team where all members (drivers, engineers and mechanics) are managers and employees of Honda R&D center in Offenbach (Germany) .
