Mirco Baldacci scored Fiat's first Junior World Rally Championship win of the season on this weekend's Rallye de France in Corsica. The San Marino driver won from long-time event leader Dani Sordo in a Citroen C2 and Suzuki driver Kosti Katajamaki. Sordo's second place makes him favourite to clinch the title in the final round.

It was 10 out of 10 time for double champion Sebastien Loeb when he took his latest stage win on the 31.81-kilometre test between Pont de Calzola and Agosta. It wasn't all good news for Citroen though, because its second car in the hands of Francois Duval is officially out of the rally after a crash on the previous stage.
