Superleague Formula fans in new competition
Football and motorsport fans now have the chance to win great prizes in conjunction with each round of the Superleague Formula championship thanks to a new virtual competition launched today.
By clicking on the link on the www.superleagueformula.com website, fans can forecast the results of each race in the championship, selecting who they will think will finish in the top eight places in race one and the second reverse grid event.
Points are allocated in the same way as the Superleague Formula championship with the top scorers winning a host of great prizes.
When fans register for the CompeticionVirtual contest, they automatically receive four credits that allow them to select the top eight for this weekend’s first race at Vallelunga.
To add additional credits, fans can use their mobile/cell phones or buy them online to top up their accounts.
Mobile/cell phones transactions are available in the following countries:
Europe: Spain, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, United Kingdom, Switzerland, France, Ireland
America: Argentina , Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, México, USA, Venezuela, Bolivia, Oceania: Australia
"Our fans already have a great emotional involvement in our championship, now they will be following the championship even closer with the chance to win great prizes," Superleague Formula President and CEO Alex Andreu said.
"With the reverse grid race, we have had some very interesting results – the fans who can best forecast the top eight will certainly earn their prize.
"The Superleague Formula teams do battle for 1 million euro on each race weekend, now the fans can fight it out for great prizes as well."
In this weekend’s fifth round of the Superleague Formula Championship at Vallelunga, Greek driver Stamatis Katsimis will appear behind the wheel of Olympiacos, replacing Danish driver Kasper Andersen.
