The summer break being concluded, the Italian Formula 3 championship is about to face the second part of the season that in four weekends within less than two months will crown the 2008 winner.
This weekend, the "Riccardo Paletti" circuit of Varano de´ Melegari, near Parma, will house the fifth round of a competition characterized so far by the battle for the leadership between Mirko Bortolotti (Lucidi Motors, 70 points) and Edoardo Piscopo (Team Ghinzani, 66 points).
