Der fünfte Lauf der Junior World Rallye Championship brachte Aaron Burkart die vierte Podiumsplatzierung in der laufenden Saison. Obwohl sich der Wahl-Berliner mehr vorgenommen hatte, war er trotzdem relativ zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Ford Focus RS WRC driver Jari-Matti Latvala holds the lead of Rally d’Italia - Sardegna at the halfway point of today’s competition. The Finn set the fastest time through the 27.81km Crastazza stage to stretch his overall lead to 14.6 seconds. As he began the journey back to Olbia for a 30-minute service, the Finn said things had improved throughout the morning.
