Durant deux jours à la mi-septembre, l’une des épreuves phares du Nord se déroulera sur un parcours autour de Béthune et selon un timing concentré.
Un « Béthunois » concentré
Les vendredi 14 et samedi 15 septembre, la Grand Place et le Beffroi de Béthune ainsi que la région du Béthunois vont vibrer pour le Rallye du Béthunois qui a effectué un retour d’un grand cru, au calendrier 2011.
En raison de l’ouverture de la chasse et du déroulement du Grand Prix cycliste d’Isbergues le dimanche 16 septembre, le comité d’organisation, dans un souci d’apaisement et de collaboration intelligente, a revu sa copie sans déroger à ses principes de convivialité, de plaisir partagé et compétition.
« Notre choix s’est porté sur un timing concentré sur vendredi soir et toute la journée de samedi, inspiré de celui des rallyes belges. C’est pour nous, une occasion de tester cette formule avec des spéciales disputées de nuit réclamées par les concurrents.
Nous leur demanderons leurs avis », indique Jean-Philippe Dhaisne à la tête du Stade Béthunois Automobile composé d’historiques et de nouveaux membres, qui a « relancé en toute sérénité » une des épreuves phares de la discipline dans le Nord.
La 35e édition du Rallye du Béthunois comptant pour la Coupe de France des rallyes coefficient 3 se disputera essentiellement autour de la ville de Béthune (qui apporte son soutien) afin de réduire le parcours routier et les coûts pour les concurrents.
L’épreuve débutera vendredi en fin de journée par un prologue composé d’une spéciale, La Clarence (première disputée le samedi en 2011). Le lendemain, quatre épreuves chronométrées seront à disputer quatre fois entre 8h et minuit.
« En raison de travaux sur la chaussée, nous avons dû scinder en deux La Turbeauté », précise le pilote devenu organisateur. L’autre changement en 2012 est le nouveau lieu du parc d’assistance : dans le vaste parking de la Société Ertel, Parc Futura à Verquigneul, en périphérie de Béthune
Trois rallyes en un
En doublure du National, le Rallye du Béthunois accueille pour la treizième fois, les véhicules historiques de compétition qui s’élanceront en tête chaque jour, et les Classic pour la deuxième fois. Comme l’an passé, trois rallyes en un se disputeront durant ce week-end de septembre.
Sur le site Internet, les règlements de chaque rallye sont disponibles ; la demande d’engagement dont les droits sont fixés à 520 euros (pour le national) comme en 2011 et à 490 euros pour les véhicules historiques, peut s’effectuer en ligne.
