Location: Vallelunga, Italy
Date: 6th August, 2008
After a successful ‘shake down’ test at Barcelona last week, the Superleague Formula teams headed to Italy to continue the pre-season testing programme at the Vallelunga circuit near Rome.
The 750-hp, V12-powered cars enjoyed a problem-free test day around the 4.085km circuit despite the extreme heat; all of which bodes well for a further successful two days of testing on Thursday and Friday this week.
Out on track today were Robert Doornbos sporting the AC Milan colours, Pier Guidi (Galatasaray), Davide Rigon (Borussia), Max Wissel (FC Basel), Daniel de la Rosa (Olympiacos) and Enrico Toccacelo, (Roma).
