China, Shanghai - A1 Team France qualified seventh for the sprint race with Jean-Karl Vernay at the wheel for the second time this year.

Rookie driver Marcel Fässler was in action this morning on a dry Shanghai circuit setting a seventh fastest time in 1.37.581 and covering 22 laps. The weather was dry and warm and drivers were surprised with the mist floating over the track.
