Luxury hotel hosts local orphanage for charitable Sohour

Rosewood Corniche, Jeddah’s ultra-luxury hotel, is fully immersed in the spirit of Ramadan, hosting children from a local orphanage for Sohour
Rosewood Corniche, Jeddah’s foremost luxury hotel, has embraced the spirit of Ramadan to welcome 25 young children from a local orphanage for a festive Sohour.
The event was a celebration of the religious values of charity and community support that the Holy Month of Ramadan emphasises and saw management and staff from the hotel sit with the children from the orphanage to enjoy a lively and festive meal.
Taking place in the hotel’s Habsburg restaurant, the Rosewood Corniche team served Sohour under the direction of Executive Chef Richard Green. After Sohour, management organized a short hotel tour for the children to see firsthand the amazing architecture and sprawling views of the Red Sea before them.
"The Holy Month of Ramadan is a time for people to give to others and perform charitable works, helping the less fortunate," said Hans-Peter Leitzke, Managing Director of Rosewood Corniche.
"Rosewood Corniche is proud to uphold those religious values and make a social contribution to benefit the local community. Meeting the children, talking to them and getting to know them as they enjoyed the Sohour was incredibly rewarding and truly promoted the spirit of Ramadan." Leitzke added.
