ADAC Volkswagen Polo Cup Siegpremiere für Maciek Steinhof
Dem Polen Maciek Steinhof gelang beim achten Lauf zum ADAC Volkswagen Polo Cup im britischen Brands Hatch der erste Sieg in der "Tourenwagen-Schule". Bereits im Zeittraining hatte sich der 22-Jährige seine erste Pole-Position gesichert.
Die weiteren Podiumsplätze auf dem nur 1,929 Kilometer langen Kurs gingen an Elia Erhart aus Röttenbach und Shane Williams. Der Südafrikaner baute damit seine Führung in der Meisterschaft aus.
Schwedische Junior-Tourenwagen-Meisterschaft Sieg für Volkswagen Pilot Alexander Graff
Die Volkswagen Piloten Alexander Graff und Johan Kristoffersson feierten einen Doppelsieg am siebten Rennwochenende der Schwedischen Junior-Tourenwagen-Meisterschaft (JTCC) in Knutstorp.
Graff, der auf dem rund zwei Kilometer langen Kurs von der Pole-Position gestartet war, setzte sich im ersten Rennen nach elf Runden knapp gegen seinen Markenkollegen durch.
Im zweiten Durchgang sicherte sich Markus Fluch in einem weiteren Golf den zweiten Rang. Graff sah die Zielflagge als Sechster und behauptete damit die Führung in der Gesamtwertung.
Volkswagen Endurance Cup Niederlande Den Boer, Bergmans und Kamphues gewinnen in Assen
Jeroen den Boer, Rob Bergmans und Rob Kamphues sicherten sich in Assen den Sieg im fünften Lauf des niederländischen Volkswagen Endurance Cup.
Das Trio verwies mit seinem Golf TDI auf der Traditionstrecke nach sechs Stunden Renndistanz Sander Etman, Nick Etman und Leonard Batenburg auf den zweiten Platz.
Mit Rang drei übernahmen Ronald Morien und Ferry Duivenvoorde die Führung im Gesamtklassement.
