Beim finalen Weltmeisterschaftslauf in Wales (GB) machte Hermann Gassner junior mit schnellen Zeiten auf sich aufmerksam, obwohl er zunächst durch technische Probleme eingebremst wurde.

Mit einem guten 12. Platz beendet Aaron Burkart seinen ersten Weltmeisterschaftslauf im WRC. Er überzeugte das ganze Wochenende über mit vielbeachteten Zeiten und verlor seine Top 10-Platzierung erst auf der vorletzten Wertungsprüfung als er auf den havarierten Sebastién Ogier auflief und kurz darauf im walisischen Schlamm stecken blieb.

Frenchman Sebastien Loeb cruised through the final stage of the Rally of Great Britain today to take victory in his Citroen Total team C4 WRC and wrap up a remarkable sixth World Rally Championship title. After losing 1.2sec of his rally lead on Sunday's opening test, Sebastien Loeb admitted he's given away 'a bit too much' though the following SS14, when his title rival Mikko Hirvonen was a massive 11.2sec quicker. Heading to Sunday's midpoint regroup, before repeating the same stages this afternoon, Loeb's lead stood at 18.2sec - down from 30.2sec at the start of the day.
